Halloween

Got any Halloween music suggestions? How about this one from Cecil Campbell and the Tennessee Ramblers? Though Campbell was one of the early pioneers of the steel guitar in country music and recorded some great steel-led instrumentals, it's this novelty song that he's best remembered for, often popping up on Halloween themed compilations. Incidentally, the chattering sound of bones heard at the start was achieved by one of the band members clacking his false teeth together .... I understand Carrie Underwood uses the same effect regularly with her teeth!

Here's a great spooky little number. "Cemetery Road" from the Cornell Hurd Band's recent "XX" album.
