Anyone who did not contact me agreeing or disagreeing their posts would not be touched.

I would give them 2 or 3 weeks to contact me after that I would pm them asking if they would mind and - if they did not want to re-insert their details ask permission to do it for them.

Gosh I never expected so muh response so soon - I appreciate all your help and comments, thank you.

I will talk to John this evening as get things into swing as soon as possible.

Am I to take it that once I do Lynne, Judy, Purple Dawn that I have your go ahead and that you will update your clubs once the other threads are locked?

I will make a not of everyone who gives me the goahead so that I don't lock the wrong ones.

make that 4

at last some sense !

to eb honest - apart from being very busy, it was one of the things putting me of posting. I felt like fok were constantly trying to out do each others posts or going so far off thread it didn't ahve any meaning for me to want to read what is was about in the first place.

Hi Mary
Yes I agree but if we forget something related to that advert will we be able to add what we forget like my gig list? It would be better to do it that way as then clubs who are on before another club is still advertised instead of keep bumping it up.

On the right hand side of your own posts you get the option to 'Quote' and 'Edit' the edit button lets you add/remove/update whatever you've posted but doesnt bump your post, by Editing you can keep updating it without adding pages of additional posts.

This means you can have a topic called 'North and South' for example that contains just one post detailing Where the club is etc. and what artist for the next month(s). Once those months have passed you can simply edit the post replacing just the dates and artists or any changes that have occured.

Hope this helps :D

Thanks Dunc, I thought I had said something like that earlier but perhaps I did not put it over correctly. Thats what I meant in my comments earlier to Club Organisers etc.

Yes you can update your clubs at any point add to also the same in the Gig guide you could do that there too.

I do appreciate the suggestions and help.
