Hiya from East London/ West Essex

Post by JohnG » Mon Feb 27, 2017 3:43 pm

Hiya, I'm John,
I first heard Country Music in the late 'forties' and got a much wider experience of it in '62/63', when I met a singer/guitarist named Ed King.It was whilst looking for his name on Google that I came across this website and was surprised to read that his daughter, Cindy, was, coincidentally, asking for anyone who knew him to get in touch!
I'll respond to her post as, apart from knowing him and the 'Ranchboys' for a while, I have some photos of them.
For the last fifty years, I've been writing the occasional song, which I put on 'SoundCloud', but I'm not a 'performing songwriter'' ; I prefer playing with a small group of friends.
'Bye for now

Welcome to the forum, John.
Country is a state of mind, not a state of America.
